About Us
I am a Speech Language Pathologist with 18 years of experience. I specialize in working with children on the autism spectrum as well as complex cases. I am currently working on a Floortime/DIR certification and I am about 2 1/2 years into the 5 year process. I am also a PLAY Project consultant and deliver DIR based services through the PLAY Project. In addition, I have advanced training and significant experience with feeding and oral motor disorders and sensory integration. I enjoy looking at the whole child and helping the child relate and communicate utilizing the child’s strengths while building skills in the areas of need.
I am very excited to add PLAY Project services to my practice. The PLAY Project is a home-based intervention program for young children on the Autism Spectrum. It is a practical application of the DIR®/Floortime model of Stanley Greenspan, MD and Serena Wieder, PhD. Through the program, parents are taught techniques that are effective, fun, and useful in day-to-day interactions with their child with autism.
